1. Data Controller
1.1 The data controller is Hôtel Michelet Plage, whose registered office is located at 1 RUE BAGUENARD 33780 SOULAC-SUR-MER (hereinafter referred to as “Hôtel Michelet Plage”). In this capacity, Hôtel Michelet Plage – and/or its service providers acting on its behalf – determines the purposes and the technical and legal means of processing personal data and undertakes to take all necessary organizational measures to ensure secure processing in compliance with the law of December 8, 1992, relating to the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter, “the Law”) and the European Regulation of April 26, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter, the “GDPR Regulation”).
1.2. Hôtel Michelet Plage is free to choose any natural or legal person who processes users’ personal data at its request and on its behalf (hereinafter, “the processor”). Where applicable, Hôtel Michelet Plage undertakes to select a processor offering sufficient guarantees regarding the technical and organizational security measures for processing personal data.
2. Processing of Personal Data
2.1. The use of the Site, access to certain sections thereof, and/or any request for information or services from Site users may lead to the communication of personal data. The processing of this data by Hôtel Michelet Plage, SAS HOTEL MICHELET PLAGE, (hereinafter referred to as “Hôtel Michelet Plage”), in its capacity as Data Controller, and/or by service providers acting on behalf of Hôtel Michelet Plage, will comply with the Law and the GDPR Regulation.
2.2. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform users, even before accessing the various sections of the Site and communicating their personal data, how Hôtel Michelet Plage processes users’ personal data. Users must read it before communicating their personal data by filling out the forms provided for this purpose in the different sections of the Site.
2.3 Personal data will be processed primarily in an automated manner, with procedures strictly linked to the purposes mentioned in point 3.

3.1. Depending on the different sections of the Site, the purposes of personal data processing will be as follows:
a) to authorize the user to register on the Site, as such authorization is necessary for accessing certain specific sections of the Site as well as for using and interacting with the various services offered;
b) after prior user consent and until such consent is revoked, to carry out marketing activities (such as, by way of example but not limited to, sending promotional and advertising material, conducting related analyses on registered users, which allow Hôtel Michelet Plage to improve its services and products offered to its clientele); and this includes by email, MMS, and SMS, after special prior user consent and until its revocation;

3.2. User registration on the Site is not required for the provision of certain services offered by Hôtel Michelet Plage (for example, the services mentioned previously in paragraphs c) and d)). 6. Consent

7. Personal Data Retention Period
In accordance with the legal requirements imposed by the Law and the GDPR Regulation, Hôtel Michelet Plage retains users’ personal data only for the period reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed.
8. Communication of Users’ Personal Data for Internal Purposes
8.1. Personal data may be transmitted to employees or collaborators of the Hôtel Michelet Plage Marketing department who, operating under its direct authority, are appointed as data controllers or processors of this data and will receive adequate operational instructions. Personal data may also be brought to the attention of employees or collaborators of the controllers if the latter, appointed by Hôtel Michelet Plage, so decide, provided that such data is processed in accordance with the purposes pursued.
8.2. Hôtel Michelet Plage ensures that processors, employees, or collaborators guarantee the same level of protection as itself and ensures that these processors, employees, or collaborators will process personal data only for the purposes authorized by the objectives pursued, with the required discretion and security.
8.3. Personal data directly communicated by users through online forms may be communicated to and processed by the external service providers mentioned above acting on behalf of Hôtel Michelet Plage.
9. Recognized User Rights
9.1. Hôtel Michelet Plage guarantees fair and lawful processing of users’ personal data.
9.2. Hôtel Michelet Plage guarantees the user’s right to access their personal data.

In accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR Regulation, incorrect or inaccurate data can be corrected or erased at any time. It is up to the user to make the necessary changes themselves from their user account first, and then to ask Hôtel Michelet Plage to make these changes if they cannot be made independently.
The user has the right to obtain the erasure of their personal data in the cases listed in Article 17 of the GDPR Regulation.
9.4. Hôtel Michelet Plage guarantees the right to restriction of processing.
The user has the right to obtain the restriction of processing of their personal data in the cases listed in Article 18 of the GDPR Regulation.
9.5. Hôtel Michelet Plage guarantees the right to data portability.
In accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR Regulation, users have the right to receive personal data concerning them from Hôtel Michelet Plage in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. They also have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from Hôtel Michelet Plage in the cases provided for by the GDPR Regulation.
9.6. Hôtel Michelet Plage guarantees the right to object to data processing.

10. Limitation of Liability of the Data Controller
The Site may contain hyperlinks to websites controlled and operated by third parties not affiliated with Hôtel Michelet Plage. In such cases, Hôtel Michelet Plage cannot be held responsible for the content of these sites, nor for the personal data protection practices of these third parties.
Hôtel Michelet Plage cannot be held responsible for the loss, corruption of data, or identity theft, which may be caused notably, but not limited to, by the presence of viruses or cyber-attacks.
The Site does not contain information directly intended for minors. Minors should not disclose information or personal data to Hôtel Michelet Plage without parental consent. Therefore, Hôtel Michelet Plage invites all persons exercising parental authority over minors to inform them about safe and responsible internet use.
11. Procedures for Modifying the User’s “Profile”
